The analysis of prospecting work objects on oil-and-gas content regions State geological survey, National Joint Stock Company "Nadra Ukrayny" and National Join Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" was executed. Separate idle deposit are investigated and propositions about prolongation of geological prospecting work are grounded. The reasons of stocks unconfirmation on the line of deposits are revealed. The forecast of structures and traps in concrete geological conditionsand the forecast oil-and-gas content of the prepared objects was executed, and the recommendations with subsequent geological prospecting works are developed. The priority and perspective directions and volumes of oil-and-gas search and prospecting works, growth of stocks on objects appurtenant to National Joint Stock Company "Nadra Ukrayny" and National Join Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" in East, Western and Southern oil-and-gas content regions of Ukraine in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 are proved. The recommendations take root under development of the annual plans of prospecting works and at realization of practical searches and investigation of hydrocarbons deposits on local objects.
