A research purpose is substantiation methodologies of monitoring of activity of the industrial and agro-industrial territorial systems of region and development and approbation of methodical recommendations in relation to conducting of complex estimation of their state and prognostication of prospects of development. There are substantiated theoretical-methodological bases of monitoring of activity of the industrial and agro-industrial territorial systems. Estimation of development of industrial production is conducted in the Western region of Ukraine. The system of indexes is formed for the analysis of the financial state, business activity and level of profitability of the industrial territorial systems and methodical recommendations are offered in relation to the complex evaluation of their (systems) production-financial potential. A methodical tool is developed for the choice of strategies of financing of current assets of industrial enterprises, and also for the calculation of integral indexes of result of their financially-economic activity.
