A prototype of the method of selecting texture area in an image using given example of texture in the area basing on methods of Gabor directional filtration has been realized. The algorithm work with images of materials microstructure and aerophotographs has been tested. Possibility of selected methods of images segmentation by a texture example using to a task of dividing images into given number of texture areas has been investigated. Test methods of approximation of surface by irregular coordinate points have been realized. Among them a fast method of points sets structuring – a recursive algorithm “divide and conquer” of Delone triangulation. Methods of work with contours have been created, among them: approximation and logical operations (union, cutting, dividing).
