This impact further development of the theory of functions of complex variable, the control theory and the theory of prediction and stochastic realization of random processes as well as the theory of linear stationary dynamical impedance systems and control theory. In particular, passive and nonconservative scattering systems are investigated with a Pontryagin state-space. 2n-times continuously differentiable solutions on the semi-axis are described and existence of their boundary values at zero is proved in some local convex space in which the initial Banach space is imbedded. Applications are found for the properties of spectra of quadratic operator pencils to description of strings and beams vibrations including problems of graphs of strings vibrations.
