Researches of influencing Gabagamma on the synaptic transmission showed that this preparation suppressed a postsynaptic potential in the group of hippocampal interneurons, while part of neurons remained insensitive to action of preparation. These researches have showed specific action of Gabagamma on the Ca2+-entrance conditioned by depolarization of cell. It was established, that Gabagamma diminished the entrance of calcium into a cell at its stimulation on 25-30% in all types of peripheral neurons. Gabagamma considerably diminished or removed the effects of violation of calcium homeostasis caused by diabetes, especially in large DRG-neurons. In capsaicin-sensible neurons in which "diabetic violations" Ca2+-homeostasis took place considerably anymore and in capsaicin-insensitive Gabagamma resulted in suppression of "diabetic effects". Thus, it was done conclusion, that preparation Gabagamma suppresses the Ca2+-entrance in peripheral nociceptive neurons, and suppresses the synaptic transmission in parts of central neurons, that provides to prevention of harmful displays at diabetic neuropathy. As a result of implementation of the project an efficiency of application of gabapentin for reduction of pain syndrome at diabetic neuropathy genesis was argued, moreover, it was marked a positive action of preparation at violations of sleep.
