Purpose of this work was to find biological properties medicinal macromycetes in culture and influence of cultivating factors on them, selection of strains according to the complex of physiologic and morphological criteria and determination of availability of their use for the development of new mushroom biotechnologies in Ukraine. Research methods - mycological, microbiological, electronic- microscopic, physiologic - biological. As a result of this research, the following outputs were obtained: physiologic and morphological properties of researched medicinal basidial and ascomycetes in various cultivating conditions. Selected strains of these species from genus Ganoderma, Morchella, Agrocybe, Flammulina, Inonotus are perspective for development of new mushroom biotechnologies in Ukraine. Information about these species is presented in the monograph "Microstructures of vegetative mycelium of macromycetes in pure culture" (2009). It was determined the influence of different sources of the light on biological properties of the researched mushrooms. During the period of research, two monographs were published, and 2 preprints, 85 articles (including 46 of them in foreign publishing), 6 patents and 57 abstracts. Results of this work can be used for decision of fundamental problems of mycology, as well as in medical, food and microbiological industries.
