Analysis of this sources allowed to study important stages of anthropological history of the ancient and medieval population of Ukraine, investigate degree of its morphological unity and the basic directions of anthropological links in ethnogenetic processes, describe the features of demographic structure of ancient populations. Reconstructions of separate paleoecological aspects of the history of the population by results of researches in paleodemography and paleopatology is offered.
