The aim of the work is development and implementation into production of the technological process of electrodischarge disintegration of metallurgical silicon. Dependency is gained of the degree of crushing of metallurgical silicon on the electrodischarge power; power consumptions and force loading schemes for realization of crushing are determined. The method of electrodischarge disintegration of metallurgical silicon is developed characterized by relatively low specific power consumption rate and output product free from side elements pollution. Efficient modes of electrodischarge treatment are determined allowing to gain fining of the metallurgical silicon to the fraction less than 1 mm with a necessary frequency rate. The novelty of the work is that the electric discharge is for first time used instead of mechanical methods of metallurgical silicon fining. Technical documentation and technological equipment are elaborated. The results of the work can be used in the sphere of pure silicon production for the needs of nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, solar energy and products of electronics.
