Karazin popup.description2 The purpose is study of ability of germ and stem cells for cloning donor's genotype and phenotype with in vivo and in vitro cultivation techniques. The main object of the study is silkworm of Bombyx mori L. Partenoclones, egg-stage-sex marked breed Soviet-5 and inbred lines of the laboratory collection; germ cells of leech H. medicinalis, and adult human stem cells were used as material. Research methods: gonad transplantation, Astaurov method of parthenocloning, cytological and biochemical methods (electrophoresis of proteins). The results obtained have shown that transplantation of donor's ovary into parthenoclone allows to clone inbred genotypes, lifting restrictions related to the requirement of heterozygosity for parthenocloning. Transplantational clones obtained through use male larvae as recipients allowed for the first time to expose the wide spectrum of phenotypical variability that depends on oocytes age in oogenesis, what compels to revise the concept of ontogenetic noise in explaining of intraclonal variation. Genetic determination of ability for parthenocloning has been shown with essential participation of some genes, which are expressed in soma. Possibilities for storage of adult stem cells needed for their transporting were studied. Germ cells and karyotypes of three species of leeches have been studied and described.
