The structure, properties and inducing activity of different elicitors were determined. Hypothesis of "double induction" was confirmed. It was shown that hydrogen peroxide (in non-lethal concentrations for pathogen) was able to stimulate exit of elicitors from the spores, thus speeding up an induction of defense responses. The evidence is provided that in a result of elicitor recognition the increasing of superoxide anion-radical amount takes place. The oxydase with phlavoproteomic subunit probably serves as a source of this radical formation. Laboratory trials of biotechnology using the biotic and abiotic elicitors for induction of disease resistance in different cultivars of Allium cepa were carried out. Principles for induction of innate plant disease resistance by usage of biotic elicitors derived from fungi were formulated.
