A considerable catalytic effect of stable carbenes in the transesterification reaction, a high catalytic effect of carbene complexes of copper (I) and nickel in the hydrogen transfer reactions (reduction) to ketones and imines to afford alcohols and amines, a catalytic effect of palladium carbene complexes in the reaction of dehalogenation of halogenaromatic compounds were found in this work. It was established that four- and six-membered heterocyclic systems (1,4,3-oxathiazin-1,1-dioxides; 1,2-thiazetidin-1,1-dioxides and 4,5-dihydro-3Н- 1,2,5-benzooxathiazepin-2,2-dioxides) are formed in the reaction of function-substituted sulfenes with Shiff bases and nitrones. Antimicrobial activity of a series of carbenoid derivatives is of importance in the creation of new drugs and biological active compounds. New function-substituted azasultones were obtained to be perspective plastificators of rubber and inhibitors of acidic corrosion of steel.
