Evolution of epidemic typhus epidemic process manifested cessation of outbreaks in the twentieth century, the registration only of recurrent diseases at the beginning of the XXI century and the hidden character of epidemic process. To strengthen surveillance of the riccketsial infections in Ukraine and their prevention we developed innovations in health care for the prediction and diagnosis of diseases, antigen for diagnosis of epidemic typhus, new antipediculosis means, received 5 patents for inventions. We published 20 articles, 56 abstracts, published guidelines, 10 information letters that are introduced in healthcare system of Ukraine.
