The nanostructured materials have been synthesized, the technology for synthesis of carbon nanostructures has been developed. Experimental samples of carbon nanostructures have been produced by two methods : pyrolysis of hydrocarbons; arc evaporation of carbon in the liquid phase. The technology of separation of soluble and insoluble products has been elaborated, the methods of identification of Pd-containing carbon nanostructures have been worked out. The synthesis technology has been devised and the composite Pd- nanostructured carbon with large surface has been produced. The technology of preparation of Pd-carbon precursor has been worked out. The technique of Pd deposition on carbon nanotubes has been developed and the samples of carbon nanotubes with palladium deposited on their surfaces have been produced.
