Prospects of these application are determined by the use of new types of vector singularities at the fields in the mentioned class, in part, polarization degree singularities. We also substantiate applications of polychromatic light fields for diagnostics of non-transparent objects with intermediate parameters of roughness, for which other known techniques ale insufficient or unapplicable.
