It is shown that such strong resonance effect as total suppression of specular reflection occurs even if the inclinations of harmonic grating profile are small. The electromagnetic field is incident on the lamellar semiconductor, and the dependencies of reflection and transmission coefficients on the problem parameters have been found. The effective algorithm for solution the diffraction problem on complex periodic structures has been developed and the effect of the resonance in locked mode has been studied thoroughly. This effect is of high interest due to the possibility of practical application. The detection part of the device for resonance effects in Terahertzes investigation has been designed.
