Aim of research is the development of conservatives, investigation of their conservative effect in making hay, haylage, silage and moist grain forage as well as efficiency of the use of conserved fodders in farm animal feeding. Methods of research are generally accepted biological, biochemical, economic, biometric. Conservatives "Tufogel", "Bergel", "Bizol", "Propizernol" for the storage of moist grain forage are developed; their application promotes high level of keeping nutritious elements of fodder and costs reduction of energy resources during fodder storage 6-10 times in comparison with drying; air and grain forage are not polluted by the products of fuel burning. Conservative "Propialt" for hay with increased moisture content, silage and haylage is developed. It promotes microbial synthesis of vitamins В12 and А in conserved fodders. Novelty of investigation is proved by the patents of Ukraine. Field of application is agricultural enterprises of various ownership forms specializing in milk and beef production. Use of conserved moist grain forage in feeding milk cows provides yield increase of fat corrected milk by 10-12%; when feeding it in the diets of young cattle average daily increase is 830-850 g. Due to the use of moist grain forage in the diets of bull-calves the cost price of beef production reduces by 12%. It is recommended to be used in the agro-industrial formations of various ownership forms.
