Mineral composition of fodder raw materials of plant and animal origin including various kinds of silage, hay, legumes and cereals grain, bran and meal, fish and meat and bone flour, feed grade yeast, stillage, dry milk substitute etc. was studied. Mineral composition of premixes and protein and mineral and vitamin additives produced by the firm "Sano", scientific and production enterprise "Vetlek".TDV "Semekstrade-East" which are widely used in Ukraine in feeding farm animals was examined. The study shows that actual composition of the mentioned above premixes and other additives differs from what is defined in the certificates. Fodder mixes, which take into account chemical and mineral composition of fodders - meat and bone flour, sunflower meal, was t soya cake, rye bran, corn stillage - were developed. The aim of the work was the attempt to produce a ration with biogenic elements of exclusively plant and animal origin. Balance experiment on 3 groups (20 heads in each group) of cross broiler chicken "Cobb-500" was carried out. Availability of biogenic elements and their effect on productivity was studied. Live weight of the broiler chicken at the end of the experiment was: in the first group it averaged at 2377,6g, in the second - 2321,7g, in the third, control group, which was fed with the fodder of industrial production - 2249,5g. Effect of oxalates and sulphate mineral additives on digestibility of basic nutrients was studied in experiment on pigs. The results prove that assimilation of nitrogen in the group of animals which were fed with oxalic sals as a component of a ration was higher on 15,8%. Besides, better digestibility of dry matter, organic substances, protein was also observed. Three balance experiments on pigs studying availability of basic biogenic elements from rations, balanced with mineral mixes having sulphates, carbonates and oxalates in their composition, were carried out. Patent № 50144 "Fodder mineral additive for pigs based on carbonates" is registered in state register patents of Ukraine 25.05.2010. The additive has in its composition biogenic elements such as carbonic acid sal: CuCO3 - 5,71%, ZnCO3 - 30,43%, MnCO3 - 23,91%, CoCO3 - 1,09%, FeCO3 - 38,86% and increases weigt growth, raises the rate of assimilation of nutrients, lowers energy and protein consumption per 1 unit of animal production.
