Aim of research - to develop complex mineral (CMA) additives for cows and young calves and to study the effect of their use in balance rations during stable and grazing periods taking into consideration necessary minerals; to make zootechnical and economic evaluation of effectiveness of using saponite, CMA and CVMA in feeding milking cows and young calves. Prescription were worked out, complex mineral (CMA) and complex vitamin and mineral additives (CBMA) based on saponite, complex of micro- and macroelements and selene for dry and milking cows and fattening young calves were prepared. Methods of research - common zootechnical, biochemical, biometrical. It was established that feeding milking cows with CMA based on saponite makes it possible to balance mineral composition of rations; raises reproductive ability of cows and survival of calves after birth, increases milking capacity of cows on 11,8-17% and decreases fodder consumption per unit of produce on 7-10%. Feeding milking cows with CVMA based of saponite and CVMA with selene lowers the level of mastitis and endometritis, raises reproductive ability of cows and increases per day milk yield on 12-17%; increases the level of calves survival on 11,8% and average per day weight growth on 10%. Feeding fattening bullcalves with saponite and CMA raises their average per day weight growth on 7,3-18,8% does not influence morphological and biochemical indicies of blood and intensifies functional activity of some structures of digestive organs of animals.
