Seedlings with heterosis for the economical traits were revealed and briefly described. The hybrid forms obtained were evaluated for muscat aroma and the levels of terpene alcohols in the berries, colored flesh and high phenolic levels. Seedlings whose must is characterized with a bright variety aroma were revealed. Intergeneric grape hybrids were obtained. Fourteen grape varieties, including four clone selections, developed by the Institute "Magarach" were registered in the Register of plant varieties authorized for commercial cultivation in Ukraine. Twenty one and three varieties developed by the Institute were patented in Ukraine and Russia, respectively. Documents for two grape varieties developed by the Institute were submitted to the State Service of Ukraine for Protection of Rights for Plant Varieties with a view to register them in the Register of plant varieties authorized for commercial cultivation in Ukraine.
