A purpose of work is a study of hydrodynamic features of forming and development of wave and vortical structures near by and above topographical heterogeneity of the streamlined surface. A research method is a physical experiment for research of stream wave and vortical structure which will be realized in the hydrodynamic trays of Institute of hydromechanics of NAS of Ukraine. In the presented work experimental researches are conducted on the study of descriptions of wave and vortical streams which arise up at flowing around of local heterogeneity of various geometry of channel. The got experimental results were analysed and the hydrodynamic features of forming and development of wave and vortical structures are studied above topographical heterogeneity of the streamlined surface. Work performances can be applied for a management the structure of stream, that will allow to prevent destructive processes in an off-shore area, developments of approaches and landing aids hydrodynamic losses, studies of wave and vortical motion in a benthic area.
