The purpose of the project is development of the new type of powerful generators of pulsed electric voltage and current on the base of usage of nonlinear phenomena in dielectrics. The study of electrical physical characteristics of nonlinear dielectrics has been performed with the help of experimental methods. The study of formation and spreading of EMSW has been carried out by the methods of computer and physical modeling. Determination of the most electrical tense areas of dielectric, improvement to configurations of electrodes and insulating gaps as well as checking the design decisions have been performed with the help of numerical calculations of electromagnetic field of the shaper. The recommendations for usage in the high-voltage technology of the shock electromagnetic waves for generation of powerful pulsed highly changing voltages and currents have been developed. The variants of technical realization of high-voltage pulsed generators, forming element of which is a transmission with nonlinear parameters have been presented. Novelty: influence of constructive parameters of nonlinear transmission lines on the output characteristics of high-voltage pulsed generators has been investigated. The technology of syntheses of working medium of nonlinear transmission lines with for usage in powerful pulsed generators has been elaborated. The areas of usage: creation of pulsed highly risen current generators, which can be used for testing of grounding devices of power and other objects. Creation of plasma injectors required for undertaking experiments in nuclear physics and in physics of plasma. The experimental samples and laboratory equipment for experiments on formation of EMSW created during performance the project, have been used as training base for students and PhD students of NTU "KPI".
