The object of the study is phytobiota formation in anthropogenic ecotopes of the south-east of Ukraine. The aim of the paper is to find regulations of forming the vegetation cover on different types of industrially damaged lands of the south-east of Ukraine and development of theoretical approaches and basic principles of artificial stable plant communities. The process of forming phytobiota in anthropogenic ecotopes of the region is traced on three different levels of organization, therefore it has been studied on floristic, phytocoenotic and population levels. The inventory of phytodiversity of anthropogenic ecotopes of the south-east of Ukraine has been carried out. Taxonomical and typological electronic cadastral database "Phytodiversity of anthropogenic ecotopes" was first created with the purpose of monitoring of the state of vegetation anthropogenically transformed areas at the present stage of development. It is organized in the form of annotated floristic lists of vascular species of plants, mosses and lichens. Methodic approaches to regulating the development of anthropogenic zone vegetation cover have been found and specified, the degree of self-restoration of vegetation cover and possible directions of its formation has been stated. The state of model objects' edaphotopes, studied, it points out at their sustainable development, extension of their range by many parameters and necessity to make a differentiating classification. Method of diagnosing life edaphotops dumps for phytorecultivation for viable populations of plants developed (for example Silene supina M. Bieb.). Method phytorecultivation heaps of coal mines using Gypsophila scorzonerifolia Ser. proposed (Patents). An original scheme of ecotopes of anthropogenic transformed territories has been developed illustrating peculiarities of spreading lichenocynusia in ecotopes of different degree of anthropogenic transformation. As a result of the research work 7 useful models were patented; state standard "Rules for biological recultivation dumps of coal mines of Ukraine" was developed and approved; a thesis for the Candidate's Degree approved; database made; 2 monographs published; 85 research works published.
