Purpose of work - to perfect the surgical stage of treatment of tumors of long bones of upper limbs due to development new and improvement existent endoprosthesis of long bones and joints of upper limbs. Research methods - analytical, patent-informative, pato-morfological, histological, method of eventual elements, clinical and x-ray me-thod. In this work the analysis of existent methods of surgical treatment of bone tumours of upper limbs with use individual modular endoprosthesis was performed. Patent-informative researches on functional ceramic coatings on me-tall implants and methods of fixing of tumour endoprosthesis with bone were per-formed. In experiment on laboratory animals demonstrated bone-ceramic con-nections cases bone defects replacement by new types of metall implants with ce-ramic coating. In experiments on laboratory animals was researched reactions of joint tissue to implants with different coatings (titan and ceramic) and was demonstrated advantage of ceramic coating. In biomechanics researches advan-tage of the combined type of fixation (intramedullar stem with periostal muff) of endoprosthesis with bone-was demonstrated. The theoretical ground of the own modular systems for replacement bone-joint defects upper limbs was performed. Own experimental models of modular systems for replacement defects of long bone of upper limbs after tumor resection were used in clinics and got resalts.
