In 2008 the hulless sort of spring barley Gatunok (the number of application 08012007 from 24.09.2008) was submitted to state test of sorts. The sort is of a steppe ecotype, semi-intensive, middle-ripening. A sort is stable to the leaves-and-stems illnesses, lieing flat and drought (7-8 points). Content of a raw protein is 16%. Output of the cereals is 90-95%. Potential productivity - 5,0-6,0 t/he. At applying of this sort into production a conditionally new profit will be 800-1500 hrn./he.
