The purpose of the work - to study the current status and changes in biodiversity of various groups of wildlife research faunogeneza and phylogeny caused by natural and anthropogenic factors in aquatic and terrestrial landscapes of Ukraine. Method of research - quantitative eco-geographical and ecological-morphological research methods, conventional and modern statistical approaches of data processing. Studied the current state of diversity of different groups of fauna (herpetofauna, avifauna, the insect fauna, theriofauna), distribution, abundance, habitat preferences of particular species, including Red, the main natural zones of Ukraine. The measures to protect and preserve certain rare species of biogeographical units and diversity of faunal groups in the different landscapes in terms of anthropogenic pressure on natural systems. In particular, the study gerpetogeografichni complexes and groups of amphibians and reptiles in the steppe zone of Ukraine, Eastern Polesie and adjacent areas, studied the genesis of herpetofauna in these regions, assessed the current status of communities and individual species of amphibians and reptiles, and developed recommendations for the conservation of valuable gerpetokompleksiv and species Red Data Book of Ukraine. Phenetic analysis of population diversity shirokoarealnyh species of lizards has revealed the landscape and environmental aspects of intraspecific variation, to determine the population structure of background species, assess the current state of geographic populations of these species within Ukraine. Were also studied biogeographical complexes and structural diversity of soil insect fauna reserves in the steppe of Ukraine, which allowed us to develop recommendations for bioindication of natural and disturbed ecosystems, to ascertain the nature and direction of successional processes to justify measures aimed at conservation of biodiversity in the context of sustainable development in Ukraine. Were also studied composition and structure of bird wading bird colonies in the artificial ponds, particularly in the Middle Dnieper reservoirs, with a significant level of anthropogenic transformation and their changes under the influence of the resettlement process of Representatives guild of fish-eating birds. The study of biotic, especially trophic relationships of invasive species with native bird is important for understanding general mechanisms of the "mixing of faunas. Detected plots area with high biodiversity, actions for their conservation. Was evaluated in a variety of small groups of mammals and relations between carriers and agents of leptospiral infection in natural foci of landscape-geographic zones of Ukraine. This allowed us to obtain new data on the importance of small mammals in maintaining the epizootic process in natural foci of leptospirosis, and to develop evidence-based recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of implementing anti-epidemic measures.
