The aim of investigations: elaboration of the system of biotechnological methods of getting of initial material for varieties and hybrids selection of garlic, bulb onion and onion shallot. The methods of the investigations: biotechnological, selectively- genetic, field, mathematically -statistical. The method of clonal microreproduction of onion shallot and garlic has been optimized. Kinds of explants and the structure of nutrient mediums, ensuring sanitating and speeding-up reproduction of onion plants with biotechnical methods have been defined. The active collection of garlic and onion shallot in vitro, consisting of 53 samples has been created. Regenerative system forcarring-outof cellular selection of bulb onion against diseases has been worked out with the use of modifying nutrient medium MC, amplified with a new growth regulator D-02 in concentration 3 mg/l. The adapting system of tube material, multiplied by the biotechnological methods, to the conditions ex vitro, ensuring 100 % taking roots of the plant-regerants has been worked out.
