Calorimetric methods for measuring the combustion heat of different types of fuel are analyzed and developed. The purpose of the work is to create scientific and technical basis, new measurement methods for specific fuel combustion heat which would assure the creation of bomb combustion calorimeters for measuring the combustion heat of solid, liquid and gaseous fuel as well as the creation of standard calorimeters. The theoretic research was made using mathematical model approaches. The experimental research was made using electric and temperature measurement methods of high-accuracy devices and computer aids. The experimental results were processed using mathematical statistics methods. A method for measuring fuel combustion heat with sealed liquid bomb calorimeters was developed. A sealed liquid bomb calorimeter was created. Its technical and metrological characteristics were studied.
