The above-mentioned management system helps to answer the following questions: How to make library management more effective under new social and economical conditions?; How to find additional financial sources?; How to keep our cultural heritage for the further generations?; How to make a modern library able to integrate traditional and electronic resources?; How to use electronic resources in the most effective way? How to apply modern IT-es for facilitating the process of the readers' servicing? Theoretical and practical results were presented at the conferences, seminars and round tables in 2008 - 2010 and tested in Vernadskyi National Library and other libraries of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences. Bibliographic, scientific and informational activity was affected by the high qualified specialists working at the libraries all over the country. For the mentioned period 181 scientific articles, including 5 monographic works and abstracts of thesis have been published. The aim of investigation was achieved with the help of theoretical and practical innovating complexes aimed at improving a scientific library's management system.
