Purpose of NIR - to define a role and place of wholesale markets of agricultural product and retail food markets in the chain of commodity of agricultural product and food stuffs from the personal peasant economy to the eventual user, etc. Research methods are a dialectical method of cognition, statistical analysis, comparison, calculation-designer, graphic, expert estimations, questionnaire inspections, induction and deduction, analysis of the systems. The normatively-legal base of activity of wholesale markets of agricultural product and retail food markets and economic reasons which induce shallow commodity producers to realize the products through an afore-named channel is analysed. Activity of auction-intermediary structures which are engaged in realization an agricultural product on the wholesale markets of agricultural product and retail food markets is analysed. Scientifically grounded suggestion in relation to the improvement of infrastructure of agrarian market and forming of the effective system of sale agrarian products. A purview is agrarian economics.
