The purpose – to determine cytogenetic mechanisms of introgression, the features of an expression and inheritance of alien traits. Methods: molecular, biochemical, cytological, hybridological analysis, statistical. Results: the biochemical and molecular PCR-markers have been determined which are capable to identify wheat-rye translocations or substitutions. The set of heterozygotic ВС8 hybrids with alien traits from different sources has been developed. The factors that influence on a frequency of transmission of E. sibiricus chromosome to ВСn+1 hybrids have been determined. The amphyploids with participation of Ae. tauschii possessing dominant and recessive genes of disease resistance and morphological traits of Ae. tauschii have been developed. The traits are typical for the phenotype of every synthetics and can serve as markers of an alien genetic material. Introduction: The seed of wheat with an alien genetic material has been transferred to the National Centre of Genetic Resources of Plants of Ukraine.
