The object – the features of inheritance and variability of economic traits, tolerance to abiotic factors in lines of winter bread wheat. The purpose – to develop winter wheat varieties of highly intensive type. Methods – hybridological analysis, technological, statistical. Results: by tough selection medium early maturing winter-hardy genotypes of highly intensive type with a reduced period of vernalization and a medium photoperiodic sensitivity have been developed. Introduction: 18 varieties of winter bread wheat of intensive type were transferred to the State Variety Trial: Krasen’, Pol’ovyk, Bunchuk, Zhaivyr, Uzhynok, Borvyi, Zorepad, Nebokrai, Vatazhok, Pylypivka, Dobrochyn, Khyst, Hurt, Lanovyi, Lad, Zysk, Rozmai, Zvytiaga. Application sphere: Research Institutes of NAAS of Ukraine, agrarian and industrial complex
