Object of research – not state pension funds of the third level of pension system in Ukraine. Research objective is analysis of development in Ukraine not state pension funds, results of their activity, an estimation of their influence on a national economy on the scientifically-proved theory and methodological bases. Structural reform of system of a pensions provision in Ukraine which provides introduction of two saving levels – with obligatory (the Saving pension fund) and with voluntary (not state pension funds) participation, in the conditions of absence of experience of functioning of such long-term investors on open spaces of economy of Ukraine demands research of the domestic operating and perspective legislation which regulates such relations, the analysis of results and an estimation of efficiency of activity of not state pension funds and granting of recommendations concerning modeling and forecasting of volumes of receipt of "pension" investment resources in domestic economy. Subbject of research – a condition of development of not state pension funds in the conditions of the modern market of Ukraine for the purpose of definition of tendencies and problems of their activity and regulation, and also granting of recommendations concerning possible actions for formation of conditions for increase of efficiency of functioning not state pension funds. Research methods. At the decision of tasks of research general -economic, legal and special methods of research were used ( a method of the logic and comparative analysis, the legal and economic analysis of interrelations, the factorial analysis, tendencies of development, processing of legislation acts and references). Results of Research. Validity of conclusions proves to be true their approbation during discussion at scientifically-practical conferences and round tables which have taken place in the Ministry of Economics of Ukraine, the Ministry of Labor and social policy of Ukraine, the State commission on securities and the stock market, the State commission on regulation of the markets of financial services of Ukraine, the Ukrainian association of investment business. Results of work are introduced in practice of work of the Ukrainian stock market development institute. The basic sections of research are transferred for the publication in periodic scientific editions. Results of research can be used for carrying out of look-ahead estimation of volumes of investment resources which can be involved in economy of Ukraine from the Saving pension fund and not state pension funds, by working out of is standard-legal documents on which basis the analysis and management of investment activity of the Saving pension fund, and also the analysis and regulation of investment activity of not state pension funds will be carried out.
