Developed is a conceptual model of the process of formation of yields of carrot with the use of mathematical models for yield forecasting on the basis of perfect studying of fundamentals of the agrotechnology for growing carrot depending on biological state of plants in their growth phases. Determined are the expediency of applying of absorbent material Teravet, and also mulching of carrot sown in summer with peat, sawdust and other materials simultaneously with moistening of rows with low rates of water. On the basis of modern ideas about optimization of conditions of development of plants in soil medium, a conceptual model of the system for growing of sugar beet with sowing in mulched soil and mowing of weeds in space between rows during the vegetation period is formed. A procedure for calculation of fractional structure of sugar beet prior to harvesting on the basis of data on yield and thickness of plant standing in a field is developed.
