The research object is the socio-economic inequality in Ukraine. The purpose of research: to determine qualitative and quantitative specificity of transformation of economic behavior of population of Ukraine in terms of socio-economic inequality; to detect the structural change of role of social and cultural competencies of different social groups generated by material stratification; examine the key criteria of socio-economic inequality; to determine the status of civil society organizations as an important determinant of social and economic inequality; develop recommendations on the harmonization of Social Policy and processes of development of market economy in terms of property bundles. Research Methods: scientific substantiation, logical and historical, systemic-structural; forecasting survey of adults, graphic, systematic, comparative, theoretical and logical analysis of economic and mathematical modeling, etc. Main scientific results - measuring model of social and economic inequality is developed, It's source is the interaction of the the objective and subjective factors of social differentiation, It's specialty - results of economic activity in their close connection with social, political and cultural aspects of social life; the peculiarities of transformation of determinant of social-economic inequality in modern Ukrainian society is defined; specificity of the influence of social institutions, the dynamics of inequality of income and expenses of the population, cultural competencies, value orientations and economic behavior of Ukrainians on the condition of proprietary stratification in modern society is defined; proved that the organizations of civil society is an important determinant of social-economic inequality. Results of the research were used in the preparation of 44 scientific and analytical papers, proposals, recommendations and other materials, that were sent to Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, in 5 Ministries and State Committees of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council of President of Ukraine, the National Expert Commission of Ukraine on the Protection of Public Morality. Received 43 positive responses about using them in practical work of the central authorities of the country.
