The object of standardization are carrot and table beetroot uterines. The aim of standards' working out is ensuring of sort purity of carrot and table beetroot uterines, rohich are aimed for planting for gelling of seeds. The state standards of Ukraine for technical conditions of carrot and table beetroot uterines contain such main sections: classification, technical demands, marking, packing, transporting and storage, methods of control, rules of receiving. The priority questions, the solution of which will promote the worked out standard projects - that is raising of carrot and table beetroot seed quality, keeping biological and table beetroot seed quality, keeping biological and economically valuables characteristics of plants, that will ensure the competidness of the grown seeds, and also lessening of uterine losses during gathering, transporting and keeping. The standards are being worked out in Ukraine for the first time. The standards, after coming into force will be applied in the branch of vegetable - growing by produces of different forms of privaty, which go in for growing carrot and table beetroot seeds. The scientifically - technical standard levels meet the modern requirements of science achievements, consumers' demands and national system of standardization.
