Aim - identify and study ways of improvement of self-propelled howitzers 2S3, development of operational-tactical requirements for the upgraded 152-mm self-propelled howitzers 2S3. The paper used general scientific research methods: analysis and comparison, extrapolation of trends (during the study experience of foreign experts), analogy, probability theory (Section 5). Obtained the following results: 1. The analysis capabilities Artillery fire at the SG 2S3 and management of artillery fire departments in carrying out tasks. 2. Directions adaptation 152-mm self-propelled howitzers 2S3 to use fire as part of a subsystem of "future combat systems" based on "merezhetsentrychnyh" principles of management; 3. The dissertation proposal for modernization 152-mm self-propelled howitzer 2S3; 4. Developed and substantiated Task requirements for the upgraded 152-mm self-propelled howitzers 2S3; 5. Ways to improve the accuracy of ballistic training ordnance. The results can be used when drafting tactical and technical tasks for developmental work on upgrading 152 mm 2S3 SH during its application within the subsystem of fire "future combat systems" built on "merezhetsentrychnyh" principles of management. Application: Artillery for the Land Forces of Ukraine. System requirements of 152-mm 2S3 SC to order the reception and transmission of commands in the information field, the procedure 2S3 adaptive interaction with other systems and means of injury, requirements to facilitate the planning and coordination VUP, which may be the basis for practical decision making under when upgrading 152-mm 2S3 SH. Thus the results obtained at this stage of research contribute to the task of improving efficiency of 152-mm 2S3 and SG will develop a proposal to draft TTZ on the ROC to develop new means of control, communications, guidance, determining settings for shooting, navigation and ballistic training for the individual 152 mm 2S3 SH.
