Due to methods of thermography, rapid cooling and a microX-ray spectrum the authorss explored the processes of crystal formation and growth in the interval of solidification of alloy АК7 primarily exposed to electrohydropulse treatment in a liquid state. It is established that after treatment the temperature and time interval of phase transition and disctribution of alloying elements change. It is shown that at passing through a hardening alloy of a pulse current the change of an energy barrier of a nucleation is observed. The method of interior heat up of alloy АК7 with an initial dendritic structure by a direct current is experimentally explored and offered for the further development. It is shown that additional isothermal action on the melted volume of current pulses leads to formation of a solid-liquid suspension with a zero degree of skeletonization, 60% content of compact grains of a residual phase of the size less than 100 mkm. The process of electrohydropulse deformation of alloy АК7 in a temperature interval from 585 to 570 оС is experimentally explored. It is shown that electrohydropulse deformation is accompanied by partial curing of shrinkable pores and leads to formation of a structure with degenerate dendritic forms.
