It was shown that the main difference of created optical-digital complex from known analogs consists in combining of capabilities of all these analjgs using more simple algorithmes of image processing. In addition, on the basis of created ODC it will be possible to dewelope methods of estimation of mode of deformation of details of aircraft designs and forecasting of their residual life. The general arrangement and the block diagram has been developed of the ODC operation, comprising the optical unit together with thermal and acoustic radiation sources, method of recording of interferograms, speckle-pattern interferograms and speckle images, as well as proper algorithm and software support, necessary for their processing and building of relief and profile of smooth surface, displacement field of smooth surface, field of in-plane motion of rough surface, field of cross motion of rough surface, field of surface deformations, locations of latent defects, locations of disintegration in the composites and other materials. The calculation of optical scheme of complex has been conducted, individual mechano-optical blocks prototyped to shape and record interferograms and speckle-pattern interferograms of smooth and rough surface, the general arrangement and schematic circuit of pulse drive oscillator of the piezoacoustic converter have been developed.
