Total volume of emissions into atmospheric air from mining-metallurgical enterprises in 2009 amounts to nearby 1400 thousand t. Basic pollutants from mining-metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine are: carbon oxide - 1072214.51 t (75%), suspended solid particles - 119774.02 t (8.3%), nitric oxide - 63902.71 t (4.5%), sulphur oxide - 113725.08 t (7.9%). Principal low-cost nature protection and energy-saving actions for the most problem productions are given. Based on analysis of total emissions and statutory acts of the leading countries of the world on contaminating emissions rating it is recommended to prepare emission standards for the most problem technological processes or particular equipment of the basic processes at mining-metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine.
