The composition, structure, stability and pH ranges of complex formation have been determined. It has been proved that HEDP and MDP form with Pd complexes of equimolar composition, in which the ligands are coordinated to Pd by two oxygen atoms of phosphonic groups. Pd forms with AEDP complexes of equimolar composition and bisligand complexes, in which one or two AEDP molecules are coordinated to Pd by a nitrogen atom and an oxygen atom of phosphonic group. It has been shown that the complexes studied show anticancer activity.
