The techinques of numerical solution of the problem on determination of vortical structures in gradient flows and perturbed flow fields over nonuniform surfaces are developed on the basis of nonstationary Navier-Stockes equations. The experimental model with a system of cavities with variable angle of axis slope to flow vector was created. The measurement complex was adapted on the basis of single- and two-component hot-wire anemometer, near-wall and total pressure fluctuation sensors. The techinque and software was improved for investigation of space-time and spectral characteristics of vortical structures which are formed in 3D cavities.
