By the example of some rock-forming minerals of magmatic genesis (quartz, corundum, olivine, garnets, feldspars etc.) the evolution of point structural and substitution defects to atomic and atom-vacation cluster formations, which are precursors of ilmenite microinclusions in quartz and corundum or talc and serpentine in olive etc., is traced. In the latter case a special role of impurity hydrogen atoms (OH-defects) in solid-phases transformations of olivines from igneous rocks is emphasized.
