Objective: effectiveness increase of therapy and prophylaxis of acute blood circulation disturbances in retina and visual nerve, of diabetic retina lesions, refractive complications after antiglaucomatous operations, ametropia on the ground of analysis of important pathogenetic links for these diseases by to work out and to work in practice new pathogenetic reasonable measures. Methods: clinical (ophthalmological), experimental simulation, immunological, morphological, mathematical. Novelty: the features of refraction after antiglaucomatous operations have been determine for the first time. The new methods of medical correction for scarring process in surgical aggression zone have been developed and as expected for postoperative astigmatism. The nature, frequency and duration of distant postoperative complications have been researched after excimer laser correction (ELC) by LASEK method. The use of new natural phytogenic bioregulator "Bacplan" have been science based in instillation 1 % water solution from dry extract for prophylaxis and treatment of postoperative complications. The own experimental model of diabetic retinopathy (DR) has been created for pathogenetic action research. The new science facts have been given to open significant pathogenetic links in DR. The clinical effectiveness of therapy and prevention for DR has been evaluated with usage of coenzymes metabolic correction. Results: the stabilization and warning of further development have been obtained in 70-80 % patients witn DR initial manifestations; reduction of frequencies of postoperative development astigmatism after antiglaucomatous operations, reduction of frequencies of subepithelial veil in cornea after ELC by LASEK method in postoperative reriod in 25 %.
