"Study the properties of defect formation in semiconductors under the influence of corpuscular and gamma-radiation and study the influence of defects on the collection of nonequilibrium charge in gamma-radiation". The followings basic scientific results are got: 1. Regardless of the type of radiation (gamma, electrons) the greatest impact in dark current Id detectors based on CdTe and CdZnTe gives initial absorbed 1 Mrad. dose It is possible to reduce dark current value of 2 or more times. Further increase of the absorbed dose of radiation does not affect significantly the value of dark current. 2. Charge state of the radiation defects formed in CdTe and CdZnTe detectors may differ significantly in one type of particle irradiation. IN CdZnTe detectors under irradiation by electrons observed partial compensation of traps that can capture non-equilibrium holes. In CdTe detectors phenomenon of compensation is not registered.
