Aim - selection and improvement of corrosion-resistant materials and technological proc-esses of making from them Christmas tree and tubing elements for production of oil and gas with hydrogen sulfide additions. Methods - mechanical, corrosion-mechanical, electrochemical, metallographic and metallo-physic. It is established that the cast electroslag 12H21N5T steel by its corrosion and corrosion-mechanical characteristics in the standard hydrogen sulfide solution is not inferior to the deformed one and can be used for the manufacture of shells wellhead valves for pressures up to 35 MPa. To improve the corrosion-erosion resistance of steels in hydrogen sulfide environments it is proposed to overlay them with alloys based on nickel and cobalt. It is proved that the double hardening of pipe ferritic-austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo steel increases the pitting resistance and provides resistance to sul-fide stress corrosion cracking to the yield stress level. The results were verified at the company that manufactures oil and gas Christmas tree. The field of application- oil and gas industry.
