The purpose of this work was to study the corrosion resistance of different magnesium alloys, acceptable to the creation of biocompatible and biosoluble medical stents. In the given work were conducted the studies of corrosion of various magnesium alloys physiological solution (0.9% of NaCl), which is similar to the internal environment of the organism. To achieve these goals was used a gravimetric method of determining the speed of corrosion, which is consist in measuring of mass variation after the contact with the corrosion environment, and the subsequent calculation of the rate of corrosion. During the given researches were conducted comparison of quantitative and qualitative parameters of the corrosion several magnesium materials by different methods of carrying out of experiment, selected alloys with the most high corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties, was analyzed the influence of various methods of treatment of alloys on the rate of dissolution of samples, as well as the change in the rate of corrosion alloys with a delay in solution or in an organism of the animal.
