Namely, on the basis of analysis and generalization of advanced satellite radar data proved the possibility of the monitoring of cyclonic activity manifestations in the form of freshly fallen rain on the territory of Ukraine, developed guidelines for the use of satellite radar data at the observation of the rainfall zones in different weather conditions; examined further development of models of microwave scattering from the earth's surface taking into account the large-scale relief at the radar satellite monitoring; experimentally proved highly real effectiveness of radio thermal radar method for the monitoring of soil moisture because of groundwater level rise (manifestations of flooding processes) by daily (daytime and nighttime) sensing of minimum flora vegetation (in autumn and spring); refined methods of combining radar and radio-thermal images with topographic maps and building of the soil moisture manifestation thematic maps for the integration in the modern geographic information systems, provide recommendations on the creation of integrated methods and monitoring systems for observation of the soil flooding processes.
