The efficiency of the use of transposons embedded in the genetic vectors pSUP2021:: Tn5 and pSUP5011:: Tn5, for slow growing mutant nodule bacteria is proved. It is shown that the activity of redox enzymes and enzymes of nitrogen metabolism depends on the efficiency of the symbiotic system or virulence of the inoculum strain. It is shown that bacteria of the genus Bradyrhizobium are able to synthesize phytohormones. It is established that the composition of secretory and membrane proteins of bacteria depends on the genotype of root nodule bacteria and may be serve as a factor in the identification of nodule bacteria. It is noted that the decrease of the efficiency of symbiotic rhizobia may be a consequence of changes in the synthesis of lipopolysaccharides. It is created the collection of Tn5-mutants of slow-growing root nodule bacteria Bradyrhizobium japonicum with improved symbiotic features and a wide inoculation range to different varieties, wich is a valuable genetic and breeding fund for increasing the intensity of biological nitrogen fixation of legumes. The perspectivity of creation of complex bacterial preparations based on strains of nodule bacteria with high nitrogen-fixing activity in the different phases of soybean development is shown.
