The synthesis condiions and the growth parametrs of the obtained crystals were detemined. The Bridgman method was used to grow ZnSe:Cr2+, CdSe:Cr2+, ZnSe:Fe2+ and CdSe:Fe2+ single crystals and their solid solutions, meant for laser engineering.
