Previously gained results in mathematical modeling of all stages of electrodischarge energy transformation in discharge-pulse technologies are summarized, which in aggregate with algorithms allows for identifying necessary operating modes and energy source parameters. Statistical analysis is conducted for experimental data with aim to reveal the interconnection between electrodynamical and hydrodynamical characteristics of compression waves at a high-voltage breakdown in a fluid. It is proved that the basic factor which determines pressure variation in a fluid point is variation of electrodynamical characteristics, and the pressure value in the medium point is regulated by a normal law of distribution. This research is scientific groundwork for the possibility to use the method on optimization of discharge-pulse technologies using the initiated discharges for the discharge-pulse technologies based on a high-voltage breakdown.
